A night out with friends on Sat­ur­day land­ed a Tu­na­puna man in hos­pi­tal af­ter the ve­hi­cle he was in crashed near the Chase Vil­lage Fly­over.

Re­ports said Lau­rance Kok­er­an, 29 of Col­lege Road, Tu­na­puna was crit­i­cal­ly in­jured when the car he was trav­el­ing in over­turned on the north­bound lane of the Solomon Ho­choy High­way.

The ac­counts clerk was said to be in the front pas­sen­ger seat of the ve­hi­cle.
