Start­ing to­day, Amer­i­can Air­lines will add a sec­ond dai­ly ser­vice to the Pi­ar­co In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port from Mi­a­mi. The air­line has been op­er­at­ing a sin­gle dai­ly flight since re­sum­ing ser­vice to T&T last No­vem­ber.  

The sched­ule is as fol­lows: 

AA 1225 de­parts Port of Spain at 7 am, ar­riv­ing in Mi­a­mi at 11:11 am. 

AA 2703 de­parts Mi­a­mi In­ter­na­tion­al at 10:24 am, ar­riv­ing in POS at 2:11 pm. 

AA2703 de­parts POS at 3:19 pm, ar­riv­ing in Mi­a­mi at 7:38 pm. 

AA 2713 de­parts Mi­a­mi at 6:23 pm, ar­riv­ing in POS at 10:02 pm. 

Pre-pan­dem­ic, AA op­er­at­ed two dai­ly flights be­tween Mi­a­mi and Port of Spain. A spokesper­son for the air­line told Guardian Me­dia that Amer­i­can Air­lines is look­ing for­ward to the in­creased ser­vice to Port of Spain. The route will be ser­viced by both Boe­ing 737-800 and Boe­ing 737 MAX 8 air­craft.
