A 23-year-old man was shot and killed out­side his home in Ari­ma late Mon­day night.

Po­lice said Mikhail Camp­bell was at his house at Ma­tu­ri­ta Ex­ten­sion, By-Pass Road, lim­ing with friends and rel­a­tives, when at about 11:40 pm, a man ap­proached and called out his name.

As Camp­bell walked to­ward the man, sev­er­al gun­shots were heard.

Camp­bell col­lapsed and the sus­pect fled the scene.

Rel­a­tives took Camp­bell to hos­pi­tal, but he was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival at 11:44 pm.
