A 69-year-old Biche man was crushed to death by a tree he was try­ing to cut on Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

Po­lice said An­tho­ny Morales was us­ing a pow­er saw to cut a large tree on Cadette Trace, Bris­tol Vil­lage, Ma­yaro, at around 11 am when a part of the tree fell on him, crush­ing his head.

Passers by saw the ac­ci­dent and called the po­lice who went to the scene with a dis­trict med­ical of­fi­cer who de­clared Morales dead. Of­fi­cers of the Rio Claro Fire Sta­tion al­so vis­it­ed the area.
