Bmobile says its telecommunications services and customer-support channels have been restored following disruptions caused by multiple fibre breaks yesterday.
The company said the breaks affected its fibre infrastructure and resulted in interruptions to some services, as well as customer-support channels.
The disruption affected other telecommunications services and public operations.
Amplia reported service interruptions, while the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation said connectivity problems affected some Licensing Division services, resulting in delays for members of the public.
Bmobile did not publicly disclosed the locations of the fibre breaks or identified what caused the damage.
The company apologised to customers for the inconvenience and thanked them for their patience and understanding.
It advised customers that its support channels had been restored as repair teams continued working to fully address the damage.
The disruption comes as telecommunications providers continue to rely heavily on fibre infrastructure to support mobile, broadband and other digital services.
