Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the death of a man be­lieved to a street dweller, whose body was found on the pave­ment out­side a bank in Port of Spain.

Po­lice re­port­ed that around 9 am on Sat­ur­day (Au­gust 2, 2025), PC Munroe of the Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tion De­part­ment re­spond­ed to a re­port of a body found on Aber­crom­by Street.

Po­lice say the body was that of a man of mixed de­scent. He was found face down on the pave­ment out­side Re­pub­lic Bank, with blood run­ning from his head.

Of­fi­cers of Re­gion 1 Homi­cide Bu­reau are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
