Po­lice are seek­ing the pub­lic’s help to iden­ti­fy a man whose body was found bound and chopped in­side a grassy track off Pe­nal Quinam Road on Mon­day.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said around 2:30 pm yes­ter­day (Ju­ly 14, 2025), a man tend­ing his gar­den off an un­named road about 500 feet from Ma­hogany Dri­ve, Pe­nal Quinam Road, saw the body ly­ing on the ground with its feet, legs and hands tied.

Of­fi­cers vis­it­ed the scene and found the body about 20 feet off the right side of the un­named road­way.

The de­ceased ap­peared to be of Afro-Trinida­di­an de­scent, dark com­plex­ion, medi­um build, ap­prox­i­mate­ly 5 feet 8 inch­es tall, with short black hair.

He was ly­ing face down, wear­ing a green T-shirt and blue box­er shorts.

Po­lice said there were chop wounds to the low­er legs and lac­er­a­tions on the body, in ad­di­tion to the bind­ings.
