A 14-year-old form 3 stu­dent of Coryal High School was shot and killed by gun­men while play­ing foot­ball with friends at KP Lands Va­len­cia Sa­van­nah on Sat­ur­day. An­oth­er man is ward­ed at hos­pi­tal fight­ing for his life.

Kiel Paul was shot in the chest and legs while at­tempt­ing to run from the armed men. He died at the scene.

He was to cel­e­brate his 15th birth­day in April.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports Paul was play­ing foot­ball just a stone's throw away from his home when armed men dressed in black, emerged from a sil­ver hatch­back ve­hi­cle and be­gan shoot­ing in the sa­van­nah.

The play­ers ran in dif­fer­ent di­rec­tions to es­cape. Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands that Paul was trapped in the crick­et nets and was at­tempt­ing to run through a nar­row space, but was cor­nered and fired up­on sev­er­al times. He fell to the ground and died im­me­di­ate­ly.

A 26-year-old man who was al­so shot was tak­en to San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal where he is ward­ed in the ICU.
