A burnt body be­lieved to be miss­ing Fyz­abad res­i­dent Rus­sell Bian­co was found near Ra­matal­ly Park this morn­ing. 

The body was burnt be­yond recog­ni­tion but rel­a­tives said the boots and belt re­sem­bled what Bian­co was wear­ing when he was last seen on Thurs­day. 

Po­lice were led to the area around 10 am fol­low­ing an anony­mous call. 

The area sur­round­ing the body was al­so burnt and res­i­dents con­firmed that there was a bush fire on Thurs­day, the same day he went miss­ing. 

The 64-year-old man worked as a se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cer at Pep­per Vil­lage Gov­ern­ment School. 

Po­lice said DNA test­ing will like­ly be done to con­firm the iden­ti­ty while an au­top­sy will be per­formed to de­ter­mine the cause of death.
