A 24-year-old man will ap­pear be­fore a Ch­agua­nas Mag­is­trate to­day to an­swer to mur­der charges of a po­lice of­fi­cer and his wife.

This fol­lows the ad­vice re­ceived from Deputy Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions, Joan Hon­ore Paul yes­ter­day.

Je­w­an Ethan Ramkissoon of Clax­ton Bay was ar­rest­ed by of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions, Re­gion III on May 18 fol­low­ing in­tense in­ves­ti­ga­tions sur­round­ing the death of re­tired Po­lice Cor­po­ral Ken­neth Mack­han and his wife Lillawati Mack­han who were found dead at their Cunu­pia Home on the same day.

Cpl Smith of the Homi­cide Re­gion III laid the charges against Ramkissoon.
