The Congress of the People says the country is inspired by the values of Muslims celebrating Eid.
In a statement on Monday, COP said, “This joyous occasion marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection. It is a time to honor the unwavering discipline, boundless generosity, and spiritual strength demonstrated throughout this sacred period. These values inspire us all and serve as a reminder of the power of faith, compassion, and perseverance.”
It went further in adding, “May this Eid bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your loved ones. Let us continue to foster harmony and mutual respect among all communities, as we work together to build a brighter future for Trinidad and Tobago.”
