Of­fi­cers from var­i­ous tac­ti­cal and spe­cial­ist units raid­ed a quar­ry off Tumpuna Road South ear­ly on Thurs­day morn­ing.

Po­lice said of­fi­cers of the Mul­ti-Agency Task Force (MATF), the Na­tion­al Spe­cial Op­er­a­tions Unit (NSOU) vis­it­ed the quar­ry lo­cat­ed in a part of Tumpuna Road South, known as ‘the Con­go.’

As of 9.30 am of­fi­cers in­clud­ing Po­lice Com­mis­sion­er Al­lis­ter Gue­var­ro and DCP In­tel­li­gence and In­ves­ti­ga­tions Natasha George were at the scene and are ex­pect­ed to brief me­dia on the op­er­a­tion.
