COVID-19 Health Centre Testing Locations

The South-West Re­gion­al Health Au­thor­i­ty (SWRHA) is con­firm­ing that COVID-19 test­ing will be done at se­lect­ed Health Cen­tres. The pub­lic is al­so ad­vised that swab­bing will on­ly be per­formed if found af­ter med­ical as­sess­ment to have COVID-19 symp­toms and/or his­to­ry of ex­po­sure/con­tact with a con­firmed pos­i­tive in­di­vid­ual. De­tails fol­low­ing this press re­lease from SWRHA: 

The South-West Re­gion­al Health Au­thor­i­ty (SWRHA) wish­es to in­form and up­date the pub­lic that COVID-19 test­ing is be­ing cur­rent­ly done at the fol­low­ing Health Cen­tres 

Clients are al­so re­mind­ed that swab­bing will on­ly be per­formed if found af­ter med­ical as­sess­ment to have COVID-19 symp­toms and/or his­to­ry of ex­po­sure/con­tact with a con­firmed pos­i­tive in­di­vid­ual. Clients are fur­ther re­mind­ed that COVID-19 test­ing is al­so avail­able on a con­tin­u­ous 24 hour ba­sis at our Emer­gency De­part­ments(ED) in our Dis­trict Health Fa­cil­i­ties and the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal. How­ev­er this test will on­ly be done for per­sons who are as­sessed at the ED as re­quir­ing same for ur­gent med­ical re­view or fol­low up that can­not be done via re­fer­ral to the above health cen­tres.  

The SWRHA con­tin­ues to in­vite our val­ued pa­tients and clients to con­tact our Cus­tomer Ser­vice Cen­tre at 87-SWRHA (877-9742), for any mat­ter in re­la­tions to health­care.
