Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) Commander Dr Daryl Dindial continued salary and wage negotiations with representatives from the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers’ Association (TTUTA). He said the meeting focused on salary adjustments for the period 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2023.
This marked the third round of engagement with unions and associations ahead of another series of talks scheduled between 8 and 17 April, covering the 2020–2022 period.
Commander Dindial said that in the coming days, he is expected to meet with representatives of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force, Police Service Social and Welfare Association, Prison Officers’ Association, Fire Service Association, NUGFW, Amalgamated Workers Trade Union, Contractors and General Workers Trade Union, Public Services Association, and the All Trinidad General Workers Trade Union.
These meetings are expected to cover salary adjustments, benefits, and other employment matters relevant to the period under review.
The CPO said updates will be provided as talks progress, and the Government remains committed to fair and transparent negotiations, particularly in addressing outstanding wage matters.
