A 68-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were shot and killed on Wednesday night in Curepe.
Another man, 65 years, was also shot and wounded.
According to a police report, at about 7:45 Kwesi "blacks" Parris along with several other people were liming at Jackson Street, Curepe when they were approached by two masked armed men, who shot at them.
Police said Parris ran into the house of Norva Le Maitre and was pursued by the gunmen who cornered him in the kitchen area and shot him several times he died on the scene.
Le Maitre police said ran to the side of the building where she attempted to hide but was seen by the gunmen and shot about the body. She also died.
The third victim, police said, was shot in both arms and legs and was taken to the Eric Williams Sciences Complex where he was treated and warded.
Police are yet to determine a motive for the killing but suspect it may be both drug and gang-related.
