A 68-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were shot and killed on Wednes­day night in Curepe. 

An­oth­er man, 65 years, was al­so shot and wound­ed. 

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 7:45 Kwe­si "blacks" Par­ris along with sev­er­al oth­er peo­ple were lim­ing at Jack­son Street, Curepe when they were ap­proached by two masked armed men, who shot at them. 

Po­lice said Par­ris ran in­to the house of Nor­va Le Maitre and was pur­sued by the gun­men who cor­nered him in the kitchen area and shot him sev­er­al times he died on the scene. 

Le Maitre po­lice said ran to the side of the build­ing where she at­tempt­ed to hide but was seen by the gun­men and shot about the body. She al­so died. 

The third vic­tim, po­lice said, was shot in both arms and legs and was tak­en to the Er­ic Williams Sci­ences Com­plex where he was treat­ed and ward­ed. 

Po­lice are yet to de­ter­mine a mo­tive for the killing but sus­pect it may be both drug and gang-re­lat­ed.
