Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) results are set to be released today along with information about the performance of student by top officials in the Cayman Islands.
Preliminary results will be available from 1 pm (AST) today via the CXC student portal at studentportal.cxc.org.
In a post on its website, CXC said its Registrar and CEO, Dr Wayne Wesley, and Director of Operations, Dr Nicole Manning, will present performance data for more than 100,000 candidates across the region who registered for over 600,000 subject entries in the CAPE, CSEC and CCSLC exams.
Cayman’s Minister for Education & Training, Finance and Economic Development, Rolston Anglin, will deliver the feature address at the ceremony, which rotates annually among CXC-participating countries.
“The Government and People of the Cayman Islands are proudly opening its doors to CXC and the wider region,” Minister Anglin said, noting that education was “at a turning point globally” and emphasising CXC’s role in keeping pace with technological advances such as AI and machine learning.
Manning highlighted the importance of CXC® qualifications for both higher education and career readiness. “We want our candidates to value this process as an important phase of their development as they play their part in advancing our Caribbean society,” she said.
