Dar­ryl White has re­signed with im­me­di­ate ef­fect as the Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer and re­gion­al vice pres­i­dent, of cor­po­rate and in­vest­ment bank­ing of RBC Fi­nan­cial (Caribbean) Ltd.

An in­ter­nal bul­letin to staff ear­li­er on March 24 an­nounced that White, who had been man­ag­ing di­rec­tor since 2013 and then el­e­vat­ed to CEO, had in 2018 re­signed.

“We will pro­vide an up­date on the suc­ces­sion plan short­ly,” the bul­letin said.

An RBC of­fi­cial told Guardian me­dia, “Once you are go­ing to the com­peti­tor you have to re­sign with im­me­di­ate ef­fect.”
