Darryl White has resigned with immediate effect as the Chief Executive Officer and regional vice president, of corporate and investment banking of RBC Financial (Caribbean) Ltd.
An internal bulletin to staff earlier on March 24 announced that White, who had been managing director since 2013 and then elevated to CEO, had in 2018 resigned.
“We will provide an update on the succession plan shortly,” the bulletin said.
An RBC official told Guardian media, “Once you are going to the competitor you have to resign with immediate effect.”
Guardian Media understands White will be taking up an offer at a well-known financial institution in Barbados.
