A mo­tor­cy­cle de­liv­ery dri­ver with Domi­no’s Piz­za was killed on Sun­day night af­ter he was ac­ci­den­tal­ly run over.

Aaron Lewis was head­ing south along the South­ern Main Road near Mode Alive when the ac­ci­dent oc­curred.

Po­lice said ac­cord­ing to eye­wit­ness­es, Lewis at­tempt­ed to avoid a pud­dle when he lost con­trol and was run over by a red Hyundai Elantra which was head­ing in the op­po­site di­rec­tion.

The dri­ver of the Elantra told po­lice he nev­er saw Lewis but felt a thud against the right side of his ve­hi­cle and as if some­thing was drag­ging un­der the ve­hi­cle.

When he checked, he saw Lewis and his bike on the road­way.

Lewis was tak­en to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex, where he died while be­ing treat­ed.

Po­lice said Lewis suf­fered se­vere head in­juries.
