A plane crash at Toron­to Pear­son In­ter­na­tion­al Air­port on Mon­day has in­jured eight peo­ple.

Video footage on so­cial me­dia showed the plane bel­ly-up on a snow-cov­ered tar­mac.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, of the eight in­juries, one was crit­i­cal and the rest were mild to mod­er­ate.

Toron­to's Pear­son Air­port said it was aware of an in­ci­dent in­volv­ing a Delta plane ar­riv­ing from Min­neapo­lis and that emer­gency teams were re­spond­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to the air­port's state­ment on X. "Toron­to Pear­son is aware of an in­ci­dent up­on land­ing in­volv­ing a Delta Air­lines plane ar­riv­ing from Min­neapo­lis. Emer­gency teams are re­spond­ing. All pas­sen­gers and crew are ac­count­ed for."

The crash fol­lows sev­er­al oth­er plane crash­es in North Amer­i­ca in late Jan­u­ary. An Army he­li­copter col­lid­ed with a pas­sen­ger jet in Wash­ing­ton, killing 67 peo­ple, while at least sev­en peo­ple died when a med­ical trans­port plane crashed in Philadel­phia.
