A plane crash at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday has injured eight people.
Video footage on social media showed the plane belly-up on a snow-covered tarmac.
According to reports, of the eight injuries, one was critical and the rest were mild to moderate.
Toronto's Pearson Airport said it was aware of an incident involving a Delta plane arriving from Minneapolis and that emergency teams were responding.
According to the airport's statement on X. "Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for."
The crash follows several other plane crashes in North America in late January. An Army helicopter collided with a passenger jet in Washington, killing 67 people, while at least seven people died when a medical transport plane crashed in Philadelphia.
