A service celebrating the life of former National Calypso Monarch Denyse Plummer will be held at Queen’s Hall, St Ann’s, on Wednesday. The service begins at 10 am and there will be a prelude at 9 am.
A limited number of invitations to the service are available on a first come, first served basis and can be collected at the Queen’s Hall Box Office from 10 am to 12.30 pm tomorrow. There is a limit of one invitation per person.
On Wednesday, guest parking will be available at the Paddock, Queen’s Park Savannah, from 8 am. A shuttle service will be provided to Queen’s Hall from 8.15 am and a return service will begin at 11.30 am.
The funeral service will be carried live on TTT and will be followed by a private burial.
Plummer, an award-winning former calypsonian and gospel singer, died at age 69 years last Sunday after a long battle with cancer.
