Po­lice are prob­ing the mur­der of a Diego Mar­tin man­who was found dead at the side of the road in Mor­vant yes­ter­day morn­ing.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors iden­ti­fied the vic­tim as Ka­reem Bap­tiste, al­so called Scoo­by, of Field Trace, Diego Mar­tin.

Po­lice of­fi­cers and emer­gency per­son­nel were called to La­dy Young Road in Mor­vant at 6.30 am, af­ter the body of a man was seen at the side of the side of the road. Both hands and feet were tied with rope.

Po­lice sus­pect Bap­tiste was killed some­time ear­ly yes­ter­day morn­ing and his body was dumped from a car as it passed along the La­dy Young Road.

A mo­tive for the mur­der is yet to be de­ter­mined.

Mur­dered man found near high­way

And po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the mur­der of an Orop­une Gar­dens man whose body was found along the Churchill Roo­sevelt High­way on Thurs­day morn­ing.

Po­lice said the vic­tim was 65-year-old Roy George Stan­ley.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors sus­pect he was shot dead around 7 am.

How­ev­er, they have yet to piece to­geth­er the cir­cum­stances of how Stan­ley was killed.

Homi­cide of­fi­cers are urg­ing any­one with in­for­ma­tion on both in­ci­dents to come for­ward and as­sist with their in­quiries. - Rhon­dor Dowlat
