A Diego Martin man appeared before the Master of the High Court on Thursday, charged with possession of a firearm and multiple firearm offences.
This charge is in relation to an incident that occurred on February 16 at Upper Salandy Street, Diego Martin.
Stephen Bethelmy, a 45-year-old sanitation worker, was apprehended by the Western Divisional Task Force.
After completing inquiries, Bethelmy was formally charged with, two counts of shooting with intent, possession of firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of firearm to endanger life, possession of ammunition to endanger life, common assault and malicious damage.
Bethelmy appeared before the Master of the High Court, Ria Libert on February 20 where he was not called upon to plead and was granted bail with surety in the amount of $125,000.00 TTD and is scheduled to reappear in court on June 20.
