Trinidad and To­ba­go is about to en­joy a long week­end.

The Of­fice of the Pres­i­dent con­firmed in a me­dia re­lease this morn­ing.

Pres­i­dent Kan­ga­loo de­clared Sun­day, 30 March 2025, a pub­lic hol­i­day in recog­ni­tion of Eid-ul-Fitr. This date co­in­cides with Shouter Bap­tist Lib­er­a­tion Day, which is al­so a pub­lic hol­i­day.

The Pres­i­dent, act­ing on the ad­vice of the Cab­i­net, ap­point­ed two ad­di­tion­al hol­i­days. Mon­day, 31 March 2025, will be a pub­lic hol­i­day in ob­ser­vance of Eid-ul-Fitr, while Tues­day, 1 April 2025, will be a pub­lic hol­i­day in ho­n­our of Shouter Bap­tist Lib­er­a­tion Day.
