Cen­tral Di­vi­sion of­fi­cers seized a firearm and quan­ti­ties of am­mu­ni­tion dur­ing an an­ti-crime ex­er­cise in Cunu­pia on Fri­day.

While con­duct­ing the ex­er­cise, of­fi­cers stopped a grey Maz­da 3 near Flirts Bar on Jern­ing­ham Road. They searched the ve­hi­cle and found one re­volver loaded with six rounds of .38 cal­i­bre am­mu­ni­tion.

They ar­rest­ed the dri­ver, a male sus­pect from Bridal Road, Cunu­pia, and lat­er searched his res­i­dence. That search led to the dis­cov­ery of:

-Nine rounds of .45 cal­i­bre am­mu­ni­tion

-Fif­teen rounds of 9mm am­mu­ni­tion

-One pis­tol mag­a­zine

-One hol­ster
