Sixty (60) employees of Flow allowed over four hundred and twenty-five (425) students to explore the vast and dynamic world of ICT.
Flow’s Career Day in ICT, which took place at the Dabadie Government Primary School on Thursday 16 November, was designed to provide the young students with insights into the diverse and rewarding paths within the ICT sector.
In a media release, Flow said throughout the morning that the young students engaged with its employees who shared their experiences and expertise and offered valuable advice to help the students chart their course in the world of ICT.
Flow’s Vice President and General Manager, Simone Martin-Sulgan said, “Heart is more than something we have, it’s something we share."
Ronald Rosan, Principal of Dabadie Government Primary School said of the day’s activities: “Thank you for the opportunities that Flow has provided for our students, with our first ever Career Day for our school which has been in existence for one hundred and twenty-two years. I know that today will be etched in the memory of every student”.
Flow said, "The delight on the faces of the students as they explored the vast and dynamic world of ICT was a pleasure to behold."
Partners and sponsors on the day included pennacool.com, Supercow Milk, Festival Cookies, Prestige Holdings/KFC, SM Jaleel and Sunshine Snacks.
Flow said Mission Week is its largest company-wide employee volunteer initiative, and this year is its 4th fourth year.
"Each year our employees volunteer across our markets and partner with local charitable foundations to unite for a full week of activities, guided by our four Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) pillars of Learning, Environment, Access, and Disaster Relief," Flow said.
