Four men were arrested in two separate police exercises conducted in Palo Seco and Princes Town earlier this week.
Around 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday 21st October, 2025, officers of the Municipal Police Operations Support Unit attached to the Beach Camp Facility, Beach Road, Palo Seco, were on patrol when they observed two men walking along Beach Road near James Trace. The men were questioned and searched.
A 36-year-old man of Fraser Street, Salick Trace, Guapo, was found with a portable grinder, flashlight, utility knife, and other items, while a 29-year-old man of Guapo was found with a hatchet and cutting discs. Both were arrested and charged for being in possession of house-breaking implements. PC Jackson is continuing investigations.
In a separate exercise, officers of the Princes Town Police District conducted an anti-crime operation between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday 21st October, 2025. The exercise, coordinated by W/Supt Bridgelal, ASP Ramlogan, and Insp Wilkinson, targeted violent crime suspects and drug blocks.
During the operation, officers executed searches under the Emergency Powers Regulations at Pascal Road, Piparo, where two men were arrested for questioning. A 58-year-old labourer of 4th Company, Hardbargain, was held in relation to Demanding Money by Menace, and a 47-year-old labourer of Robinson Trace, Hardbargain, was held for enquiries into Robbery with Violence.
