Four men were ar­rest­ed in two sep­a­rate po­lice ex­er­cis­es con­duct­ed in Pa­lo Seco and Princes Town ear­li­er this week.

Around 9:15 p.m. on Tues­day 21st Oc­to­ber, 2025, of­fi­cers of the Mu­nic­i­pal Po­lice Op­er­a­tions Sup­port Unit at­tached to the Beach Camp Fa­cil­i­ty, Beach Road, Pa­lo Seco, were on pa­trol when they ob­served two men walk­ing along Beach Road near James Trace. The men were ques­tioned and searched.

A 36-year-old man of Fras­er Street, Sal­ick Trace, Guapo, was found with a portable grinder, flash­light, util­i­ty knife, and oth­er items, while a 29-year-old man of Guapo was found with a hatch­et and cut­ting discs. Both were ar­rest­ed and charged for be­ing in pos­ses­sion of house-break­ing im­ple­ments. PC Jack­son is con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.

In a sep­a­rate ex­er­cise, of­fi­cers of the Princes Town Po­lice Dis­trict con­duct­ed an an­ti-crime op­er­a­tion be­tween 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Mon­day 21st Oc­to­ber, 2025. The ex­er­cise, co­or­di­nat­ed by W/Supt Bridge­lal, ASP Ram­lo­gan, and In­sp Wilkin­son, tar­get­ed vi­o­lent crime sus­pects and drug blocks.

Dur­ing the op­er­a­tion, of­fi­cers ex­e­cut­ed search­es un­der the Emer­gency Pow­ers Reg­u­la­tions at Pas­cal Road, Pi­paro, where two men were ar­rest­ed for ques­tion­ing. A 58-year-old labour­er of 4th Com­pa­ny, Hard­bar­gain, was held in re­la­tion to De­mand­ing Mon­ey by Men­ace, and a 47-year-old labour­er of Robin­son Trace, Hard­bar­gain, was held for en­quiries in­to Rob­bery with Vi­o­lence.
