PNM chair­man and for­mer Min­is­ter of Ed­u­ca­tion, Dr Nyan Gads­by-Dol­ly, says all cit­i­zens should be con­cerned "with no sight of the Ho­n­ourable PM since her swear­ing in."

In a post to her Face­book page, Dr Gads­by-Dol­ly said when­ev­er for­mer Prime Min­is­ter, Dr Kei­th Row­ley, sought med­ical at­ten­tion, there were calls for him to ac­count to the pub­lic about his fit­ness to lead.

She is de­mand­ing the same of the Prime Min­is­ter Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar.

Dr Gads­by-Dol­ly posed sev­er­al ques­tions to the Prime Min­is­ter, "The cit­i­zens de­serve to un­der­stand why she has not been seen since Sat­ur­day May 3rd. Is she re­al­ly work­ing from home? Files are be­ing sent there for her sig­na­ture? Why can't we see a pic­ture or video or her at work? Why is the na­tion­al out­cry about such a fun­da­men­tal is­sue be­ing ig­nored? Is this the type of lead­er­ship we can ex­pect go­ing for­ward? Where rea­son­able re­quests are ig­nored and dis­trac­tions of­fered as ex­pla­na­tions? Where is Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar? Who is lead­ing Trinidad and To­ba­go?"

Ear­li­er on Fri­day, Min­is­ter in the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter, Bar­ry Padarath, was seen on a Face­book live at the Diplo­mat­ic Cen­tre talk­ing about the Prime Min­is­ter's of­fi­cial res­i­dence.
