The injured female German national in Tobago has been located and rescued by the search team in Charlotteville.

According to the Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), she was extracted from the rugged terrain last night.

The woman said she fell approximately 60 feet down the precipice in the Campbelton area.

An ambulance was on site for transfer and took her to the Scarborough General Hospital, where a team was standing by to provide medical treatment.

"Hats off to the TTFS, TTPS, TEMS, REACT, local villagers and the hunters association for their effort, persistence, and tenacity in locating her," TEMA said in a social media post, as the Agency thanked all participating agencies, “for their quick and coordinated response in ensuring the successful execution of this search and rescue operation.”
