The Im­mi­gra­tion Di­vi­sion will launch its new ePay­ment Por­tal for per­sons ap­ply­ing for Stu­dent Per­mits and Visas for en­try in­to Trinidad and To­ba­go ef­fec­tive March 1.

The ePay­ment Por­tal will al­low for the:

- On­line ap­pli­ca­tion for eVisas and eS­tu­dent Per­mits

- Pay­ment by on­line mech­a­nism (us­ing a Cred­it Card)

- Ac­knowl­edg­ment of the Visa ap­pli­ca­tion in re­al time

- Abil­i­ty to track the ap­pli­ca­tion sta­tus

- The on­line is­suance of eVisas and eS­tu­dent Per­mits.

Dur­ing the tran­si­tion pe­ri­od from Feb­ru­ary 10 – 29, 2024, please take care­ful note of the fol­low­ing:

Ap­pli­ca­tions sub­mit­ted to im­mi­gra­tion.visas@gov.tt will be processed as an ap­pli­ca­tion for a visa waiv­er. This would re­sult in per­sons re­ceiv­ing ap­proval to pay the visa waiv­er fee of TT$400.00 on ar­rival at the port of en­try. This mea­sure would not be ap­plic­a­ble to hold­ers of Diplo­mat­ic, Of­fi­cial or Ser­vice pass­ports and cit­i­zens of the fol­low­ing Sec­ond Sched­ule coun­tries, name­ly:

- Cu­ba

- North Ko­rea

- The For­mer Yu­goslav Re­pub­lic of Mace­do­nia

- Viet­nam and the

- Bo­li­var­i­an Re­pub­lic of Venezuela

Ef­fec­tive March 1, 2024 this process will be dis­con­tin­ued as the new eVisa On­line Por­tal would be avail­able.
