Unit­ed Na­tion­al Con­gress po­lit­i­cal leader Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar has re­vealed the re­main­ing po­ten­tial can­di­dates for the par­ty to make up its slate to con­test the April 28 gen­er­al elec­tion.

She made the an­nounce­ment Thurs­day night at an an­ti-crime town­hall meet­ing at Cen­tre Point Mall, Ch­agua­nas.

Among the names are Jear­lean John for Cou­va North, re­plac­ing Ravi Rati­ram.

Sean Sobers is the pick for Tabaquite, re­plac­ing Ani­ta Haynes-Al­leyne, and David Lee moves from his pre­vi­ous seat of Point-a-Pierre to con­test the Ca­roni Cen­tral seat.

Lee re­places Arnold Ram.

Per­sad-Bisses­sar al­so an­nounced a switch be­tween Dave Tan­coo who will now con­test Fyz­abad, and Dr Lack­ram Bo­doe who will con­test Oropouche West.

Ch­agua­nas West will be con­test­ed by Dr Col­in Neil Go­sine.

Some of the oth­er po­ten­tial can­di­dates an­nounced are Hansen Nar­i­nesingh for Clax­ton Bay, Shiv­an­na Sam for Cu­mu­to/Man­zanil­la and Per­sad-Bisses­sar for Siparia.
