Po­lice have not yet held any sus­pects in con­nec­tion with the break-in over the week­end at Jus­tice Frank Seep­er­sad's To­ba­go home, which is lo­cat­ed in the Plan­ta­tions gat­ed com­mu­ni­ty.

Al­though noth­ing was stolen, Seep­er­sad ex­pressed con­cern when con­tact­ed for com­ment.

"Par­adise lost. In this twin-is­land Re­pub­lic, nowhere is safe, and no one is safe," he said in a brief state­ment.

Guardian Me­dia un­der­stands that some­one dis­cov­ered the break-in on Sat­ur­day night while prepar­ing the house for the judge's ar­rival. A suit­case had been opened and its items were shift­ed, but noth­ing was tak­en. Ini­tial­ly, it was as­sumed the house­keep­er had un­packed the items. How­ev­er, when Seep­er­sad ar­rived on Sun­day, he con­firmed that no one had done so.

Guardian Me­dia al­so learned that a bath­room win­dow was found to be bro­ken, and foot­prints were dis­cov­ered on the wall. Po­lice and se­cu­ri­ty of­fi­cials re­spond­ed to the re­port, where Cpl Den­nis and Of­fi­cer Abra­hams processed the scene.

Cpl Den­nis told Guardian Me­dia that the in­ves­ti­ga­tion is on­go­ing, and au­thor­i­ties hope to make progress in the case.
