RHON­DOR DOWLAT-ROS­TANT 

Kurt Cu­pid al­so known as Kurt David Smith, 51, a man de­scribed by po­lice as a per­son of in­ter­est in sev­er­al high pro­file crim­i­nal in­ves­ti­ga­tions in­clud­ing mil­lion-dol­lar rob­beries was killed in Long­denville on Thurs­day night.

Po­lice said Cu­pid pop­u­lar­ly called KC was fa­tal­ly shot sev­er­al times while at­tempt­ing to park in the dri­ve­way of his girl­friend's home at Tom­Tom Street, Long­denville.

Po­lice said at about 7 pm Cu­pid vis­it­ed the girl­friend's home at about 7 pm where he asked to bor­row her black Kia Cer­a­to car to meet some­one at the Brent­wood branch of Chuck E Cheese. 

Smith re­turned to the home at about 7.35 pm and was shot dead while try­ing to park. 

The girl­friend on check­ing saw Cu­pid bleed­ing and called for help from a rel­a­tive who took him to the Ch­agua­nas Health Fa­cil­i­ty, how­ev­er, he was de­clared dead at about 8.42 pm.

Cu­pid was orig­i­nal­ly from Mar­aval and was charged with the 2016 $1.5 mil­lion Price Smart rob­bery.
