Ken­ny J has died from COVID-19.

The singer, whose re­al name is Ken­wrick Joseph died this morn­ing at the Au­gus­tus Long, Hos­pi­tal.

His daugh­ter con­firmed to Guardian Me­dia, that Joseph had been at the hos­pi­tal for the last two weeks be­ing treat­ed for COVID-19.

He was fa­mous for sev­er­al Christ­mas so­ca parang hits in­clud­ing The Paint Brush and Alexan­der and worked as a po­lice of­fi­cer be­fore ven­tur­ing in­to mu­sic.

Ken­ny J was 69-years-old.
