Amer­i­can R&B singer Keyshia Cole re­vealed that she was on­ly asked to per­form three songs at last evening's R&B Brunch Fes­ti­val at Queen’s Park Sa­van­nah in Port of Spain.

Her ex­pla­na­tion, post­ed to her In­sta­gram Sto­ries, came af­ter many at­ten­dees took to so­cial me­dia to crit­i­cise her short per­for­mance at the event on Sat­ur­day.

One X user wrote, "Mo­ment of prayer for the peo­ple who wait­ed 3 hours in Queen’s Park Sa­van­nah for Keyshia Cole... (she left af­ter two songs)."

Tick­ets for the event were priced at $500 for the court­yard, $800 to $1,800 for the gar­den brunch ex­pe­ri­ence de­pend­ing on the tier, and $1,300 for the ter­race brunch ex­pe­ri­ence. Cou­ples’ tick­ets cost $2,000.

Dur­ing her trip, the singer known for mega-hits such as Love, I Should’ve Cheat­ed, and Let It Go was al­so seen vis­it­ing KFC at Movi­eTowne.

Ja­maican dance­hall artiste Dex­ta Daps al­so per­formed at the event.
