Kidnap victim Jankie Satie Karim has been found alive. Police say she was found in a forested area earlier this evening.
One of the alleged kidnappers was also reportedly killed in a confrontation with police as they closed in on their location.
Meanwhile, a female has been detained by lawmen in connection with the abduction.
Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro is due to address the media in Matura any time now.
