The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) has announced the appointment of Kurleigh Prescod as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 22 April 2025.

Prescod, who previously served as Executive Officer, Technology and Engineering at TATT, brings over two decades of leadership experience in technical and general management roles across the telecommunications sector. His regional portfolio includes work with regulators and operators in Trinidad and Tobago, Curaçao, Barbados, and the Windward Islands.

He succeeds Cynthia Reddock-Downes, who had earlier indicated her intention to retire following the end of her extended contract. She will now serve as Advisor to the CEO during a transitional period.

In a statement, TATT’s board expressed gratitude for Reddock-Downes’ contribution to the Authority’s strategic progress and welcomed Prescod to his new role.
