Thirty-three year old Nickalyn Agarrat of Maloney Gardens was granted $150,000 bail after she appeared before Justice of the Peace, Stephen Young charged with two counts of forgery, two counts of uttering a false document and obtaining the sum of $46,000 by false pretences.
According to police reports, Ms Agarrat used a false job letter and payslip to apply for a loan from a commercial bank. Officers of the Fraud Squad were contacted, and following investigations Agarrat was arrested and subsequently charged. Investigations were conducted Snr. Supt. (Ag.) Groome, Supt (Ag.) Reuben, ASP Lutchman and supervised by Insp David, Sergeant (Ag.) Toney and WPC Campbell.
