Rad­hi­ca de Sil­va 

A man who snatched a gold beera in Ch­agua­nas on Sat­ur­day was caught short­ly af­ter­ward by po­lice.

Of­fi­cers re­ceived re­ports of the theft near the mar­ket and soon spot­ted a man match­ing the de­scrip­tion at­tempt­ing to board a PH taxi near Sco­tia Bank. The ve­hi­cle was stopped, and a search found the stolen beera.

The vic­tim, who had been chas­ing the sus­pect on foot, iden­ti­fied both the man and the beera.

The 24-year-old sus­pect from En­ter­prise was tak­en in­to cus­tody, and charges are ex­pect­ed to be filed.
