A 61-year-old man is dead after being stabbed once in the chest by a relative on Friday.
According to police reports, Peter Dandass, of La Horquetta, arrived home around 3:30 am and was acting in a belligerent manner.
He then got into an argument with his wife, during which he became increasingly violent and eventually grabbed a cutlass.
A 28-year-old relative who was home at the time intervened and stabbed Dandass once in the chest.
He was taken to the Arima Hospital where he died.
Investigations continue.
