A San Fernando family is in mourning after a 32-year-old man was killed when his pickup ran off the Solomon Hochoy Highway and crashed into a ditch in Ste Madeleine this morning.
Police said Arvin Williams died when his Toyota Hilux landed on its hood around 2 am.
Relatives said he was on his way home after dropping off a friend in Golconda, San Fernando. Williams had spent the night celebrating with friends ahead of his birthday on Tuesday.
