A 25-year-old man died on Wednes­day morn­ing, af­ter falling from a col­laps­ing scaf­fold­ing while work­ing in a ware­house on Akaloo Trace, Char­lieville, Ch­agua­nas.

Po­lice said the in­ci­dent oc­curred around 10 am as the man was clean­ing the ware­house in the com­pa­ny of oth­ers.

The man was stand­ing on top of a scaf­fold when it sud­den­ly col­lapsed. He jumped from the falling struc­ture but land­ed heav­i­ly and was un­re­spon­sive.

Crime scene in­ves­ti­ga­tors PC Ram­di­al and PC Naipaul processed the scene and the body was trans­port­ed to Dass Fu­ner­al Home.

An au­top­sy is ex­pect­ed to con­firm the ex­act cause of death.

Ch­agua­nas po­lice are con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions.
