A 22-year-old man was shot and killed in Morvant early yesterday morning.
Police identified the victim as Tylan Hinkson of Redwood Street, Morvant. He was reportedly shot near Second Caledonia Road, in the vicinity of Juman.
Police responded and found Hinkson lying on the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. He suffered severe injuries to his face, hands and legs.
Homicide officers have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the killing.
