A 30-year-old Va­len­cia man was killed when ban­dits stormed his home on Thurs­day night.

Po­lice said De­on Br­us­co was at his Ben­ny Road, home around 11 pm when masked gun­men ran in­to his house, over­pow­er­ing him and a fe­male rel­a­tive.

The at­tack­ers re­port­ed­ly tied Br­us­co and the woman up be­fore shoot­ing him in his leg.

Res­i­dents heard the gun­shots and called the po­lice who vis­it­ed the scene and found Br­us­co bleed­ing.

Of­fi­cers of the East­ern Di­vi­sion took Br­us­co to the San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal where he was de­clared dead around 1.15 am on Fri­day.

Po­lice from the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions Re­gion II are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
