A 24-year-old Cunu­pia man who ad­ver­tised his game con­sole for sale was robbed af­ter re­spond­ing to a po­ten­tial cus­tomer in down­town Port-of-Spain on Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon.

Po­lice said the man went to Queen Street, near the Masjid around 1 pm where he met a man who iden­ti­fied him­self as the cus­tomer.

While speak­ing with the stranger, the man briefly turned his back and felt a hard ob­ject pressed against his back be­fore be­ing or­dered to stand still.

The stranger stole the PlaySta­tion 5 be­fore walk­ing away.

The man re­port­ed the in­ci­dent to po­lice.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors are ex­pect­ed to view se­cu­ri­ty cam­era footage of the in­ci­dent.
