Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a rob­bery in which a man was held up and his ve­hi­cle stolen af­ter ar­rang­ing to sell a PlaySta­tion 5 through Face­book Mar­ket­place.

Around 1 pm on Thurs­day, the vic­tim went to Sixth Av­enue, Barataria, to meet a sup­posed buy­er. When he ar­rived at the dead end near Neville Jules Road, a man armed with a knife ap­proached and an­nounced a rob­bery. Two oth­er men then emerged from near­by land and joined in.

The sus­pects took the vic­tim’s grey Nis­san Fron­tier, a Sam­sung Z Flip 4 phone, and the PlaySta­tion con­sole be­fore es­cap­ing.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors are re­view­ing CCTV footage and work­ing with the Cy­ber­crime Unit to track the stolen phone.
