The man seen hop­ping from ve­hi­cle to ve­hi­cle this week has been ar­rest­ed. 

Po­lice said the man was a sus­pect in a house­break­ing, where he al­leged­ly stole noth­ing but is al­leged to have cooked him­self a meal. 

Po­lice said the man was men­tal­ly ill and had a his­to­ry of drug abuse. 

In two videos shared on so­cial me­dia on Wednes­day, the man is seen jump­ing from a truck, on­to a maxi-taxi and then on­to a parked car as he sought to es­cape from men who were chas­ing af­ter him. 

The men chas­ing him were re­port­ed­ly af­fil­i­at­ed with the own­er of the house he broke in­to. 

The in­ci­dents all took place in the Point Cumana area. 

In an­oth­er video shared on so­cial me­dia, the man is seen with his hands tied and in the cus­tody of po­lice.
