A 37-year-old man was shot while liming near a fruit stall in Morvant on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the man was with others at Wallace Road, Chinapoo Village, around 5.30 p.m. when a white Toyota Aqua pulled up. Someone inside the vehicle opened fire, hitting him several times before driving off.
A resident took the wounded man to hospital, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the upper right leg.
Officers said he refused to provide any further details. Investigators later canvassed the area, but residents also declined to share information.
Police found no spent shells at the scene.
