Pedestrians and motorists in Port-of-Spain were alarmed this morning after one man stabbed another man following an argument on the street.
The 45-year-old security guard who lives at Edward Street, Port-of-Spain, was reportedly standing at the corner of Oxford and Abercromby Streets, when he was allegedly confronted by a man he knew around 9.30 am.
It was alleged the suspect and victim began arguing, following which the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the right shoulder and left ankle.
Passers-by alerted police who arrived and took the injured man to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital, where he was treated and warded in a stable condition.
