An argument over money led to a 38-year-old man being stabbed multiple times in Siparia on Sunday.
According to a police report, around 9:20 a.m., the victim got into an argument with a 19-year-old neighbour over a debt.
During the confrontation, the teenager allegedly stabbed the man several times—near his left eye, right forearm, right foot, stomach, and the back of his head.
The injured man was taken to the Siparia Health Facility and later transferred to the San Fernando General Hospital in serious condition.
The suspect, who lives in the same area—Coora Branch Road, Siparia—was arrested and taken to the Siparia Police Station. PC Chaitramsingh is continuing investigations.
