Two female pensioners were robbed by balaclava-clad bandits during a home invasion in Princes Town on Wednesday night.
Police said that around 9:20 pm, a 67-year-old woman was downstairs at her home when three men, two armed with guns and one with a cutlass, confronted her.
The suspects ransacked the area and stole $130 and a Samsung A05 cellphone. One bandit remained downstairs with the victim while the other two went upstairs and robbed another pensioner, 77, of $4,050, a white gold Spanish link chain with an "S" pendant and a Samsung A26 cellphone.
The suspects escaped through bushes behind the house.
PC Dennis and officers from the Princes Town CID visited the scene.
Investigations are ongoing.
